Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Cyber Centaurs handles information associated with use of this website and inquiries submitted through it.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Cyber Centaurs handles information associated with use of this website and inquiries submitted through it. The website rebuild is still underway, and this policy may be updated as website functionality, analytics, integrations, forms, CRM systems, cookies, and production configuration are finalized. Cyber Centaurs is operated by Centaur Holdings Inc., 111 North Orange Ave, Suite 800, Orlando, Florida 32801, USA. For questions about website privacy, contact [email protected].
2. Information You Provide
When you contact us through a website form, we receive the information you enter, which may include your first and last name, organization, email address, callback number, incident or matter type, and brief description. Some forms also ask for your role or urgency. Use an email address and phone number that are safe for us to contact. Forms include security measures such as a hidden honeypot and Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated abuse.
Public website forms should not be used to submit passwords, credentials, forensic images, privileged materials, confidential evidence, sensitive case files, regulated information, or other highly sensitive information. After an engagement is established, Cyber Centaurs may provide appropriate secure methods for information or evidence transfer.
3. Information Collected Automatically
Ordinary website and server systems may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, referring information, and security or server-log information. This language describes normal website operation and does not state that every category is retained in every circumstance. If you permit Statistics, Google Analytics 4 may collect information about pages viewed, browser and device characteristics, referral information and interactions with the website. Google receives technical information when its analytics service is used. If you permit Marketing, supported landing-page forms can capture campaign parameters and Google advertising click identifiers present in the current page URL and send permitted attribution information with your inquiry. We do not treat an ordinary Google referral as proof of a paid advertisement. Please do not include personal or incident information in campaign URLs.
4. How We Use Information
Cyber Centaurs may use information associated with the website to respond to inquiries, evaluate potential engagements, communicate with users, operate the website, maintain website security, troubleshoot issues, improve website functionality, comply with applicable obligations, and protect Cyber Centaurs, clients, and users. With the relevant optional permission, we use website analytics to understand site use and advertising attribution to understand which campaigns generate inquiries. Responding to an inquiry and delivering requested services do not depend on permission for optional analytics or advertising measurement.
6. Service Providers
Cyber Centaurs may use service providers that support website hosting, WordPress functionality, form handling, email delivery, security, maintenance, or other operational needs. These providers may process information as needed to provide those services. WordPress and Bricks handle website forms. Server-side automation using n8n passes supported inquiry information to Zoho CRM for intake and follow-up. The existing public Contact form also sends a plain-text email containing the submitted contact information and description to the website administrator mailbox. The three incident-response landing-page forms use the webhook route without an additional WordPress email action. CRM workflows may create operational notifications. Cloudflare provides Turnstile spam protection and website security services. Google provides tag-management and, when permitted, analytics or advertising measurement services.
7. Data Retention
Cyber Centaurs retains information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, legitimate business and recordkeeping needs, website security, dispute resolution, and applicable legal obligations. This policy does not establish a fixed retention period for every type of website information.
8. Data Security
Cyber Centaurs uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information. No Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Third-Party Links
The website may include links to third-party websites or services. Cyber Centaurs is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, availability, or content of third-party websites or services.
10. Children's Privacy
The website is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children.
